"Tonio, your shareholder, has been posting there is no profit in cerium. cerium is currently selling for around $14/kg. LYC's opex is estimate to be around $14 to $16kg"

Safe first year estimate to be conservative for initial cost of production will be $20 per kg as Rhodia and Lynas staff fine tunes this state of art plant it will be $10 per kg after 1 year of approx.

Also the cost of production doesnt take into account for the fact that Lynas waste will be recycled into saleable products. The waste will be turned into cement and for use roadbased bitumen.

Mike Vaisey(VP Research & Technology) was in charge of this project in converting the waste has been working on this technology since way back in 2006/07. Alot more research has been since then. After the waste was converted to cement like product Mike, Nick and Parent meet up with a few cement manufacturers in Kuantan to test the products. The products passed and the technology works with flying colours.
