That's the problem with nearly all oil stocks and why they are on the nose.
The FANS oil or not are uneconomical at anything under $60 US.
They did their commitment well so the J/V are off the hook for a few years.
FAR as far as I can see have enough evidence already to push the button regarding SNE.
Fair enough they want to drill another well or more at theses cheap prices.
Jesus though what's the reason to drill more wells when even at a higher POO the costs would not be any more if you believe POO will be lower for longer.
I you want to progress a production field you want to do it as quick as possible to get your money back.
But no, another 2 wells so far it seems on grounds there is no guarantee they would tie in with SNE initial planned development.
I don't get it but it seems most of you do.
Commerciality should have been called by Cairn ages ago going by their criteria, hasn't happened.
Does anyone think the Senegal government would be happy when even they know its commercial?
You would believe they want the fastest way to create revenue.
A thinking person would have to think they are stalling.
