Well build up the gold resource with drilling then find a JV partner like Gold Road did with GoldFields..Seems to be strategy with a fair chance as all tier 1 producers are constantly looking to increase reserves.But still load of drilling to do to build up proven reserves which in his market is clearly attractive for a current cashed up producer to look at for increasing reserves. Unfortunately mining companies are a little like football teams..as soon as they have some $$$ it gets spent on a new player ...& mining enterprises search a longer mine life..more proven reserves...a tough game indeed.
