WEC has finally come on the radar with a solid performance this week as management start to sell the story.
A recent presentation I attended painted a very exciting future.

* strong balance sheet > $40mil

* The Powder River Basin contains the largest reserves of
sub-bituminous coal in the world. Barrick Obama in recent speach highlights the brown coal deposits of PRB as Americas future energy source.

* NRG Energy and Buckskin mining from Powder River Basin in final stages of feasibility study with WEC. With potential for >5 million tonnes of upgraded coal. Infrastructure already in place for construction of plants.

* Plants are built in one million tonne modules and are made with literally off the shelf components. The process is fully mechanical without the use of chemical binders.

* has a very efficient use of energy with just 4% of
feedstock coal required to realize an average energy gain of 30%

* Travers Duncan, Executive Chairman of both WEC and FLX is a civil engineer with over 30 years of experience in the management of large coal mining and
infrastructure development projects in Australia, India,
Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.

* Through the experienced board WEC have the potential to acquire and manage their own resource.

* In 2006, Australia's economically recoverable brown coal resources were reported to be 37.3 billion tonnes. It has a much lower carbon content than black coal and a higher moisture content. It is mostly found near the surface in thick seams and can be mined economically on a large scale by open-cut methods.

WEC certainly has a very big future. Time for the market to wake up.
