If they're no good it's illogical to buy in at any price.
Furthermore, you'd only list a buy for 10,000 shares for market position and then amend order for larger volume if wanted.

Otherwise you'd run the risk of buying 5.5m and the price sliding back to 2.5 and burning half your cash.

obviously I don't think this is the case. Might just be someone trying to even up the buy/sell so it appears more attractive without a risk of actually having to purchase the shares. Much like we see with a suppression with sells off the viewable sell depth.
