Every second ridgeline and mountain top, sacrosanct for the 60,000 years of the Originals' occupation of this land are now desecrated for the benefit of mainly foreign-owned, Australian taxpayer subsidised wind turbines, which last 20 years and then will again be left for the taxpayer to clean up the mess. The wildlife toll will be ongoing and no living creature will want to be within a kilometre or two of the sound waves generated by the blades. The thousands of rare birds, eagles, hawks, parrots, and more, smashed and hacked to pieces by the monstrous blades. While the turbines sit idle we are still subsidising them to the hilt.
Remember, the bases on these monstrosities require 30-40 truckloads of concrete and will no be removable. The access roads will seed massive erosion and act as entry points for foreign weeds and plants into otherwise pristine wilderness.
Worldwide, the transmission lines to connect all these and the thousands of solar "farms" is estimated by the the IEA to require adding or refurbishing more than 80 million kilometres of transmission grids by 2040.
The ignorance of this Net Zero cult is beyond scary, because it is effectively chasing a non-achievable, nonsensical goal, while destroying the lives of people and wildlife, and blighting the face of our beautiful old land.
