Yeah, I think vax and however many subsequent boosters are on offer is the go, because I hold no suspicion of them as a systemic problem for immune systems, and I prefer them to getting sick (plus statistically less serious illness or death, blah, blah)
Sure, it may focus the immune system on covid, and your immune system can't do everything at once, but covid is what us going around at present.
