1. Old style Hard Disk Drive, slow large and hot running with major electricity consumption
2 NAND/Flash Memory is replacing hard disk drives (Hot, Faster, Smaller, lower electricity that Hard disk )
3. ReRam, Faster, Smaller, runs cool and uses very little electricity and has larger capacity and can scale up
Although I cannot vouch for the source of these pictures or the comparative amount of storage that each of these provides. But clearly a smaller, but larger capacity, cool running chip which uses a fraction of the Power of NAND/Flash would be of massive/huge interest to the Mobile Phone market.
