Thank you. I apologise for being a bit prickly. FYI, my background is computer and electronics engineering. I have worked for an outfit that developed its own MEMS chips. Those were easily a couple of orders of magnitude more advanced than tech from PSY for example. The development was funded privately to the tune of hundreds of millions by US investors (one owned a bank, the other was a founder of one of the big US chip firms). 4D-S have come a long way, but there is a long way to go. The chip picture I posted suggests they might be a lot further down the track than the SOR nanocube memory. Interesting times ahead, especially if that HGST JV bears fruit with Western Digital.
