So from an semiconductor insider we can gather that non-filamentary is in a different class to filamentary and that when other parameters have been met then yield and manufacturabilty is key.
4DS is in the process of demonstrating the last point. During the last non platform run 19 of 21 were functional and they emphasised that within the "process window" all wafers were functional. We are at the pointy end of this business.
