Two key updates for me which sandwich this thing is this one from back at initial takeover date which calls out exactly what they intend to do..


What they said they were going to do... Develop a Transformative & Disruptive ReRam Tech to Replace Flash & address the massive memory storage space deficit..



Versus what they have done.... Nov 2020 Presso.. And I challenge anyone to shoot holes in any statement held within.. The only thing tighter is the control on news it seems..


WDC spent $18B on R&D over last 10Y, 8 of which have been spent as a strategic partner with 4DS via HGST association.


We know it scales better than Flash and with speed comparable (Usain Bolt ref) so die cost pins to bottom left corner...



Statement validated (by HGST & IMEC) & published with key criteria dated 24-6-20 linking patent to area based Reram first with no error correction req at near DRAM speed, another Reram patented first.. Still the only patented tech to achieved this feat..


And the fact IMEC validate the claim is enough for me... I doubt you bully this lot by threatening to withold invoices, oh which are now paid in arrears.. ! hehe


And appointing a Chairman & Senior VP of this calibre makes a BIG statement... Big Willy was CEO of Novellus Venture Capital Arm in case anyone missed it..



Company highlights or basically what they have done, dated Nov 2020.. Two key points;
1. Demonstrated record improvement in speed and endurance.. No mention of company record so that says industry record to me.. Sub Nano & near infinite spring to mind.. And September still keeps popping up as a ref point in timelines I notice.



Make this an 8 year partnership.... And note the statement from the VP of Tech & Strategy Development dated 2016.....



And here are the objectives as highlighted in Nov 2020.. 1. Process, 2. Mimic Industry Standard Manufacture, 3. Demonstrate the ability to fabricate a fully functioning megabit chip with storage class characteristics.. and/or complete a corporate transaction.. Sep???? maybe, idk..




On track since Oct 2020..... Nothing has changed only the timeline to completion has shortened markedly. IMHO...
