4DS own the IP therefore whatever they may have created together will only be able to be commercialised if you own or have a licence to use the IP

To really begin developing this tech to full commercialisation a fully working Megabit Chip with all control logic is necessary to take things to the next step
This is exactly where 4DS are at and hopefully soon we will have this and with solid data backing it's completion.

This is the platform to really launch commercial discussions, even if another platform lot is put in place to fine tune and further improve functionality while 4DS has time left with IMEC

WDC knows it has access to the tech at the very least through it"s licensing option and when and if it needs to play this card will depend on other interest and the timing of such interest.

If all falls into place with with the results of the Megabit Chip, WDC would no doubt like to have control of the tech.

As others have mentioned, due it's close partnership arrangements with the likes of Koxia and Micron etc, 4DS may fit nicely into any future arrangements or linkages that may occur with these groups

Because of the timeframe and money needed to introduce a product to the market in the NVM space, some grouping probably makes sense

These players can still continue with there current products with the view to introducing this new tech at the appropriate time so as to continue the current money gravy chain in the interim.This is probably a 1-2 year development timeframe if all goes according to plan

To get the best result for 4DS shareholders we may have to be patient and work with these processes over the balance of this year .
This doesn't mean that the share price won"t rerate over the next month or so.

A functional Megabit Chip with good data backing this (we will only to be privy to broad data ) will likely cause a significant rerate
