My take on the SCM market not being available is that they need to have a versatile product to cater for whatever needs arise in that space when the demand begins.
They currently have nothing to go off. IF the Mb chip continued with the current mask it would well be inferior to it's potential. IMO.
I believe IMEC has to share or own the weight of the challenge ahead.
It was their mask , it was their chip.
Not looking for blame but that my take away.
I'm looking for confidence in the NEW mask from the AGM.
Do they only intend to make it work from here. Not iterate further.
Meaning is August the end of development or could it mean another mask or iteration?
