I don't know why the industry insists on being so covert during the R&D phase King, but they do....

So we (4DS) have been developing product samples under NDA since approx 2017 I would say... Tuning and tweaking to the various needs of potential customers to nail down different characteristics and how they are affected at each platform stage as the company has said in every release..

Because that is the road to commercialization.... Delivering to the potential customer a tailored saleable product that they can use in different platforms as req. Thus providing them with the expected potential revenue & critically important cost data needed in order to price the tech effectively..

All the while reporting on changes to the key parameters of Speed, Endurance & Retention... And possibly making late adjustments if deemed necessary before starting rev 2 as has possibly been the case with adopting the new mask etching... ?

The final step is to qualify what you have done and that requires a megabit chip as a minimum in order to qualify the final product key parameter data and that is exactly what we have been promised next run with the statement. "The Third Platform Lot will also include a test chip: an imec 1 megabit array using 4DS’ ReRAM cells."

Whilst most likely at the same time the Rev 2 fully crystalline PCMO material requiring memory cells operating in a memory array where currents are controlled and limited by access devices will possibly be in risk production.....

Hopefully having already been sold on the basis of what the customer has seen so far...

There you have it, the last piece of the puzzle... The megabit chip.... It was never going to turn up first, it was always the final piece of the puzzle..
