Pretty much right dim.
The info I was given was the doc convinced the BD to head in this direction.
This way he could sell the IP a lot easer, and he believes he can also get a better price, if it all works out.
The main selling point for him to approach the big guns of the semiconducter world is,
the high speed that they have, and they think they can still improve on, and also the fact that it will be stand alone., hence the change of direction.
I was also told that this will be an even bigger market to aim for, hence a better price.
This to me is all very positive if they can get a working chip, that's why I was being so positive.
Anyway that's the info I got, but 4ds really should have come out early with all this a guess.
The doc has a lot of pull that's for sure.
