Just some musings for a rainy Wednesday morning in Hobart - all number fictitious obviously.
Figures below all in USD millions and based on 30% EBIT and NPV30. (30% is typical for the memory market?? EBIT I think so, NPV not so sure)
Year 0 is value of business based on 30 and 30 as above. Bottom rows 1%, 5% and 10% share of market.
R & D pure guess and allowed 2 years worth.
No allowance for total market growth.
Just food for thought. Happy to re-run with different margins, NPV, whatever, if of interest.
