Just wanted to open up some discussion about the possible market opportunities should our tech be validated/ proven to the levels we are hoping.
I note ( with very few exceptions , like Comincon, who’s opinion I respect greatly) that the WBT forum doesn’t share many regular posters with 4DS. I have always found that kind of interesting. I know the technologies are VERY different, despite both being ReRam, but I am still trying to understand statements from many saying we are not after the same market as WBT. If we have tech that scales down much further, uses much less power, is faster, cheaper and has greater endurance then why can’t we target the WBT market as well? What exactly is stopping us ? Should holders of WBT be nervous about what 4DS are trying to accomplish?
To be clear, I am not trying to talk down WBT, just trying to understand this ever changing tech space. It could be that WBT has some advantages over 4DS for certain applications. I am interested to know what these are.
