You are right to a degree Tex, however even though big business do not care about saving the planet, their hands are forced by governments trying to reduce power consumption and infrastructure costs. Hence why we have Euro emissions data. If a car company can reduce its power consumption, it can reduce the amount of battery required, which then leads to less solar panels installed and on it goes. So yes power consumption in my opinion is the biggest factor going.
Reward is the highest when the requirement is hardest. That is why we are not targeting Nand.
