But a trading halt is only two days (or four days for a back to back TH that is only allowed for a CR).
A voluntary uspension could last much longuer if ASX agree with that. .
The 4DS 2021 suspension lasted from October 8 to november 4.

Based on 2021 calendar , the next balck out periods are :
- Relase of Q4 report - July 22 = Black out period from July 7 to july 24
- Release Annual report - August 26 => Blackout period from August 12 to August 28
- Release of final annual report and quarterly report October 28 and November 1 => black out period from october 14 (?) to november 2

People wanting to exercise their options expiring on october 27 have more than one month to do it between August 28 and October 14.

If for example, they can't release the PL3 results in the first half of september, they could go in suspension for until October 14, and the start of the last black out period. Options holders will then lost they options.

This will be a remake of october 2021 cataclysmic scenario.

Imo, that's not why all are exercising now.

If they think that PL3 will fail, KH has the same information, and probably before anybody.

Why joining 4DS in march if it is to see the company collapse under his management, 6 month later.

Even a 50:50 chance of success would not be enough for him to join 4DS as CEO.


This exit from October options has been carefull y planned, imo.
That's why they removed the 20% selling limit per quater in the last trading policy update (february 2022).
They want people to exercise all their october options now.

Imo, the only explanation is that the board doesn't want to see people selling in september to pay the exercise cost.
There could be another explanation, though.

I think they are planning something for september.
A company reorganisation ? The entry of a new large shareholder ?
