For me and some others, it means that all patent belong to 4DS, and that 4DS doesn't have to pay royalties to use some third party Patent.
Contrary to 4DS, WBT use third party patents and have to pay royalties.
It doesn't mean that 4DS has no obligation to give a licence to use its technology to Western Digital (something that is included in the JDA with WDC, and the JDA has not been canceled to the best of my knowledge).
Koutham has a different opinion.
He thinks that "free from any licensing obligation" means that 4DS doesn't have to give a licence to WDC.
We desagree on that point.
It's up to each shareholder to make his own opinion by reading the text of the announcement.
It's a very important point.
