below screenshot from vice president and president of Micron and Western Digital directly saying "niche applications" & "niche markets" regarding next generation memories.
but of course, these guys pale in comparison to your deep knowledge of the industry and how the future is likely to be structured regarding the compute-memory-storage heirarchy and markets therein.
