Western Digital is interested in replacing DRAM with 4DS ReRAM to manage its SSD (Solid State Drives) consisting of NAND Flash.
No Flash Memory or DRAM producer can risk losing access to Non-Filament technology that is cheaper to manufacture and orders of magnitude superior to DRAM.
While Dr WvdH does not see Western Digital busting the acquisition card, it will no doubt action its right under the Joint Development Agreement to purchase its 20 year non-exclusive license.
