Maybe have a read through the old Info for 4DS newbies thread PT. Loads of still relevant info in there, just need to insert the newly released metrics.
As I'm sure you're aware, and as others have mentioned, there's been a few WBT trolls on here and a few numpties from here trolling over there apparently, but generally it's pretty easy to see where the useful info comes from.
