When Dr Wilbert was Chairman - i.e. a semiconductor industry veteran - he stated more than once that there are 'trade offs' when developing this tech for 4DS between speed, endurance and retention. This is exactly what DM stated in the chat on Investor Hub.

So, retention can be increased if a particular application requires it but it will be at the expense of speed and/or endurance. It will be up to an acquiring entity to decide how to tweak the metrics (or recipe) depending on what product they are wanting to produce for whatever market.

Universal Memory would be a tech that can do all 3 metrics to astonishing levels - Wilbert said he thought this was a very long way off and may never be developed.

Part of the problem here is that certain posters have the memory of a goldfish whilst others are relatively new to the stock and aren't aware of what the company has previously gone through over many years during development. Others can't help but be consistently negative about the company in every respect and unless they are actively trying to encourage retail SH to sell and drive the SP down I don't understand why they continue to hold.
