It's been, what 2 months since the last technical annoucement? In between that, we know that 4DS management have been at IMEC in strategic meetings, potentially with big players from industry.
The company is running on the smell of an oily rag, very lean in terms of staffing. The companies they are seeking to deal with are massive corporations that have extensive procurement and investment processes. They don't wake up in the morning and decide to drop a cool billion on a tiny company with promising technology, no matter how good the results are.
So 4 weeks since the IMEC meeting. It's taken me months to negotiate service agreements/contracts with big corporate entities in my line of work. Whatever comes next for 4DS, is going to take time.
