True - however there is a distinction - and quoting your post -

Yep yep I know we are not going to produce a chip as such - we sell to the highest bidder. The clear difference as I see it is 1. They understand the value of PR and keeping the market informed on what they are achieving. Sure it's pretty hyped but that's a CEO's job - to sell the dream and the product. 2. The other is we have not had any external validation of our results. We have market releases from a very opaque management but no third party validation. No IMEC haven't put their name to it as far as I believe. Yep yep - NDA's yada yada. 9c is really where we belong. I don't like it one bit but as the great man said in "The Irishman"
