Some posters are noting the announcement of FILAMENTARY RERAM by a US company. Do not confuse this technology with 4DS' NON-FILAMENTARY RERAM for Storage Class Memory. They are chalk and cheese and basically NOT competitive.
4DS is very much focused on the Data Centre, Big Data environments, whereas others presently in the news are looking to populate devices on the Edge, IOT, etc.
DYOR, but it is clear that 4DS is in the right place at the right time to address the current limitations confronting Data Centre Architecture.
