Guess if WD actually have anything in the game, actually have been receiving in-depth early updates, and do have a watertight agreement, (whew) then they'd be in the box seat to snap us up.

Sure, their business doesn't revolve around the new AI pivot, yet if they had the appetite to potentially both grow their exiting business plus offshoot into AI memory provider / license holder... well, stranger things have happened hey.

Unlike many of the guessing games previously debated on here, this particular one "should" be over within days. Ha!
