1. Nobody it seems even knows about 4ds, let alone IMECs involvement.
2. You are totally naive to think that those who hold imec in high regard would stake their whole reputation on how the outcome of a R&D project turns out, for a paying customer. You think they are that narrow to think every R&D project works out. OMG 4DS didn't sell for billions...must mean IMEC are frauds. Ridiculous.
3. 4DS are an absolute minnow. The tech could fail, and no one would even blink an eye. 4DS who? You have a much over inflated opinion of their importance and grandeur in the semiconductor space if you think people are watching and will stake IMECs reputation on this.
It seems aligned with the sentiment by some here that this is going to change the world and its selling for, what's the latest, $30 billion? Yet IMEC cannot even bring themselves to put their name to anything with it. You have built castles in the sky I'm afraid.
