Certainly a better place to be starting negotiations from, particularly if there is only ONE interested party. However, I suspect there will be multiple interested parties in which case the SP will only be relevant to investors wanting to free carry (as best as possible) prior to the results of PL6 being released.
A bidding war will IMHO make the current SP seem like a pittance.
