Ok - so it's either / or. If they sell the intellectual property, how exactly do shareholders benefit?

1. Do they use the sale proceeds to conduct a share buyback?
2. Do they use the sale proceeds to issue a one-dividend?
3. Do they use the sale proceeds to issue the 'sales bonus pool' to themselves and then what?

The company has a pile of cash in the bank but so what. How does that benefit shareholders of a company that no longer has any value other than cash at bank?

Some may say, well we have loads of cash which makes.company value higher so the value of the shares will sky rocket. Really? Who is going to pay shy high prices for shares in a company that no longer has any product or technology of value and has no business plan of how to deploy that cash.

i think this is worth discussing....
