The overall % change for the day is not calculated using the opening price for the day
It is calculated using the "closing" price on the previous day and the closing price of the current day to arrive at the % movement
Looking at the day you posted "14th June" I assume you were referencing that day as the -1.23%
The previous day "13th June" the close price was 0.081
The close on the 14th was 0.08
The percentage change for the 14th is calculated as ((current close price minus previous days close price) div by (previous days close price)) times 100
Therefore the movement percentage for the 14th is ((0.08 - 0.081) / 0.081) x 100
Therefore the movement percentage for the 14th is ( -0.001 / 0.081) x 100
Therefore the movement percentage for the 14th is ( -0.012345) x 100 which = -1.23% rounded to 2 decimal points
