    i work for a large telecommunications provider. did my stint on 24/7 in the noc and datacenter monitoring / cable runs / server patching / remote hands etc was all part of it. we had hot side and cold side rows so we cool the intake side of the racks and they flow out into the hot side. much more efficeint than trying to cool the whole dc.
