Flectional, of course nothing is certain except death and taxes. I'm light years behind you, but the options of solving bottlenecks are temporary fixes to a degree. The problem keeps growing, and now with the advent of AI, the problem will be multiplied. The flexible memory that we currently have, can be bent to fit more specific customer requirements. The market keeps getting bigger as the problem grows.
The certainty I am witnessing, is the red carpet treatment from Imec. Changing Dory platform to achieve 20nm, top 8 scientists, and a machinery line we have solely for ourselves. That reads that the market is bigger than we can imagine. One has to trust that these guys know the business better than anyone else. The hurdles potentially 4ds can solve. Customers could line up around the corner and then some. Ting and Imec are quite confident, therefore so am I. If you were Imec, would you give a machinery line to one customer if the odds of success are low? Food for thought.
