That has never been the stated aim of the company, to develop a marketable product. The aim has always been to develop a transferable process that industry can be confident that works.

The Megabit platform is the industry agreed test bed, the "racetrack" upon which new memory technologies can be assessed, done to a scale/volume that gives statistical confidence in results that come from testing after a platform lot has been fabricated.

4DS could never make that finished product, they are not that far inside the tent. How Micron, Samsung, Intel, WD might use 4DS RERAM in their own products would come down to what IP, tech and "secret sauces" they own themselves. You could give 4DS RERAM to each of them to solve a problem and they would probably each come up with a unique answer that solves the one problem.
