Yes, I absolutely agree with you @mjshackl.
That is why I was very surprised DM said that a partnering relationship announcement could happen any time between now and release of results for the 20nm attempt. It doesn't seem rational for anyone to be signing a development partnership deal before these results are known.
Perhaps this was DM's way of trying to stop the slow bleed in the share price........ try and get holders to hold.
