@Flectional . Yep, we are not the only ones trying to fill this gap between NAND and DRAM (and beyond). I have always had in the back of my mind that work would continue on Optane ‘like’ technology in the absence of other new possibilities, considering how much money was poured into developing that technology. I wasn’t sure how ‘tweakable’ it would be.
How consequential is this development by Numemory to 4DS ?
I noted, near DRAM speeds with persistence and similar endurance and likely low cost.
