i'll venture to suggest due to the fact they were contracted to design an access platform to characterize the complete area /cells of the switching interface. - that is a 'bulk and interface trap analysis' which is not possible on existing platforms...by any player in the semiconductor space ( other than behind closed doors that we do not about) ....as mentioned by the Executive Chair in the presentation. he went further and stated 4ds always had this step in mind (lol) - so...without this 'design' from Infineon you have an innovation that is inaccessible as a functional / commercial switch only memory in amorphous pcmo.
to believe it is some top level endorsement of the tech is fanciful by any measure of best practice outcomes. at this stage
