Gassy, I understand where you're coming from in wanting to hold management accountable and the frustration that arises from a disconnect between positive announcements and share price performance.

You've highlighted the point that negative sentiment on platforms like Hot Copper can deter new investors, and I agree that it's a factor to consider. My original comment wasn't to say it's the only factor, but it's certainly one element that can contribute to the overall perception of the company.

However, what I find particularly interesting is the point about the capital raise. You mentioned that many investors were trying to understand why the SP was destroyed after the Infineon announcement. Yet, the capital raise, which many now cite as a key issue, occurred after that. It raises a question: if the concerns about management were so strong at that point, why did so many participate in the capital raise? It was oversubscribed.

I personally participated in the capital raise. Therefore, it would feel hypocritical for me to now heavily criticise it as a disastrous move. If I believed it was fundamentally flawed at the time, I wouldn't have invested further.

This brings me to a broader point about the ongoing complaints. While I understand the desire for accountability and better communication, the constant negativity, especially when it seems at odds with past actions like participating in a capital raise, can become counterproductive. It can create a cycle of negativity that may indeed deter new investors, as we both seem to acknowledge.

Re: the comment about people being lazy - that was obviously in relation to the misuse of the PH quote on this thread. The quote had been thrown around (lazily) without context with a clear objective to propagate yet another wave of negativity. I watched the interview for the first time and immediately posted a fuller transcript of that quote and clearly set out my opinion. I don't know how providing the context is "spin", but would suggest the earlier posters providing the soundbite were the ones knowingly spinning the comment negatively. So I called it out.

Ultimately, we all want the share price to reflect the potential of the technology. My aim in pointing out the impact of online sentiment isn't to deflect from management's responsibilities, but to encourage a more holistic view of the factors at play and perhaps a bit more self-reflection amongst shareholders and HC posters regarding their own decisions.
