Good question. I have no idea. I suspect they really took their time post 5. I don’t think the purpose of 5 was clearly articulated from the start or end. My interpretation is, it has derisked 6. We don’t have much to go on but the recent wording does suggest a lot of positive vibes. Even if 6 does not work i suspect it will be minor adjustments required. Even when you reread pl 3 it eventually worked with some extra voltage and some ting magic. With regards to Infineon (happy to be fact checked) i believe one of the reasons is we need them to measure the whole area (we are area based), as the current tech could only call so many memory cells and infineon can do this on the 60nm (I’m guessing this), so a lot is happening. As far as the qtr runway, this is completely normal and if you think 3 qtrs scares you, then this is not the stock for you.
