Reality a lot of speculation - he stated in his pres he is 'under the impression ' infineon will show deeper interest in the tech going forward and spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to convince the audience who approached who? - infineon will not be happy to be publicly discussed in such a way imo - they simply have a fee attached development contract
the test platform and test chip are not targeted at commercial release - they are development tools the current fee negotiation with IMEC as mentioned by @darrenrr cannot be finalised until test data on pl6 is available to provide direction on manufacture and resources - etch will be notable as will retention fade switching from hrs to lrs ( referred to as managed retention ) let alone yield/defect density on manufacture - as a rule to be cost effective in memory on AI a 75% yield number is required ( source Peter Pochmuller Neumonda) the timeline alteration will be explained when it is explained - the fact that it has not been is interesting? long way to go waiting to see those testing results - my opinion only
