Every one of my long term holdings are making me money with one exception and that one is a very very small parcel ($6k AUD).
Overall, I'm going guns.
Roulette style trading IMHO is only for people who want to invest but have no spine or talent for it.
If the markets are so horrendous, then explain why I've made a fortune on DDR, A2M, KGN, RHT (of which I've sold 50% of my shares this year for risk management), just to name a few of my investments on the ASX..
The problem with traders is they aren't happy unless they're making X10 their money on every trade and that is unrealistic. They treat the market like a get-rich-quick scheme and when it doesn't happen they start making risky decisions that eventually cleans them out.
This is EXACTLY why the markets are full of losers. Since it's become a poker game in the last 10 years, the number of people getting dressed down has dramatically increased. You can't dress down a LTH if they work solely on fundamentals.
