The "we" that is in it for several more years depends...
Whoever wants to commercialise the memory, mass produce it etc. yes potentially "a few more years".
4DS isn't a chip maker, they're an IP company and the IP development is coming to a head. It's largely complete at 20nm, and fully complete at the first tape out for a test chip. (so PL6, then infenon then a test chip).
Unless their objectives change, which they very well could do, the current iteration of 4DS will not be around for several more years.
