to break the pattern a bit from patience posting to get to 20k posts I do wonder something for the gurus here.
From my talks with Ting and Peter they told me metrics usually improve as you move down geometries. As a layman who knows nothing I wonder wouldn't it be possible to use some sort of mathematical formula to predict metrics such as endurance and read/write speed since its essentially the same memory cell just 9 times smaller. They seemingly did this in the graph I posted from one of their presentation.
Trying to understand the risk scenario here. 20nm is a tick and we passed the risky 1st week where they may have announced the cells not working. Now 3 weeks into testing and my spider sense tells me they may have something big here but I wonder if it's possible to somehow predict with what we know from PL4
