    i think at medium case it's a $500-700m AUD buyout and at best case it's a $1.5b AUD buyout.

    There are very few acquisitions of a "not in market" memory/chip that top $2b. If any.

    Open AI just acquired an AI hardware company run by Jony Ive (Ex Apple - designed the iPhone). They have a product that blew Sam Altman's mind. $6.5b buyout.

    Granted, if our memory is good it will be valuable. But it's a few years off commercialisation and in that time other memory comes and goes. So no one is taking a $2b+ risk on tech that may end up being outdone. They take a $1b risk and spend the saved $1b on getting it to market quicker. And most investors here will take the $1b offer.
