Agree, very weird indeed converting and selling the options at these prices. They must think we won't trade higher than 7.5 cents over the next two years. Each to their own, take the money and run. Probably want to shoot yourself though if the Company does a deal for just 50 cents and you would have pocketed an extra 42.5 cents per share with no risk. Rather than squandering the options, you could have just bought at 3 cents and sold at 7 cents. But happy to see the funds go into the coffers to keep the balance sheet strong (aka less weak). Very different proposition for management, They get the SBP so they don't need the options for their big pay day. Hence they can flip them (referring to previous instances), get some 'free' cash and still rake in the $$$ from the sale event.
