Has he been actively involved in 4DS in the past few years?
Everyone likes to talk up things they are working on, if I am a director of a company I will promote it and make people believe it is that amazing.
Just because someone who use to be part of the company said something almost 10 years ago doesn’t mean it is still relevant now.
If he still hold the same belief he has 10 years ago then you will see him buying more. That will make a sensible investing move. And him not selling is not a justification that he still believes in the company. I am also not selling but that’s not because I still believe in the company, I just don’t see a point selling at a loss now.
