Irrespective of the fact JD is free carried, the shares he owns are still worth about AUD $3 million as of today …… they might be ‘free’ shares but that $3 million that could be in his bank account or giving his family a more comfortable life.
Clearly he still has something to lose ….. holding shows a continued commitment and confidence.
Saying someone is free carried so they have nothing to lose is a very simplistic.
