ha, it’s wild times. The real fun here is seeing the different sentiments in this thread- some deal with it by being optimistic, and others deal with it assuming all is lost ( and secretly hoping for a positive outcome- ie ‘expect the worst, hope for the best’ mentality). It would be interesting to throw the entire HotCopper thread into an AI, and ask it “based on this data, do we expect a positive or negative outcome” . Our other main problem (which a success at 20nm would resolve), is our heavily bi-polar largely retail register, it’s the blind leading the blind (at least that’s the impression from HC). Anyway, live by the sword, die by the sword. Fun times.
