Might be that the road show was to keep WD honest.
A takeover at such a low price may be possible if WD entities accumulate a sizeable position when it seems inevitable the technology will work and suit their business model.
So many shares out there that the small investor, trader can't move the market without being managed down by bigger players with a plan.
This all has nothing to do with us, we are merely passengers.
The big picture was decided around the table somewhere around getting into bed with WD and JD/ DM getting together with Guido occurred.
They needed a safe haven so as not to be robbed or rushed.
Or maybe not.
All IMO as I wait for a plane...
